Summer 2026 has been a busy one, with many custom-designed wood roofs underway! A few of our projects completed this summer are highlighted below.
Located in Ohio, this charming cottage went with 16” Western Red Shingles which were CCA treated to help fight against mold and mildew. These were installed at an average 4” exposure with a mild wave coursing throughout, complete with curved shingles on the dormers and eaves.
This next featured project is in Michigan. A similar style, this roof was done using our 16” CCA treated cedar shingles, but at slightly smaller exposure, to better match the former roof. Installing at a smaller exposure gives the roof a bit more depth and texture.
This cottage is located in California and used 16” Cedar Shingles which were Class “B” fire treated to adhere with the local roofing codes. The design called for a very mild wave-coursing throughout and turned out beautifully!
